Pinhook Honey is owned and operated by Todd Thomas and family. The farm was originally named Lively Acres by Todd's mother Rhea Dawn.
In 2012 Todd decided to start raising bees as a hobby, which quickly grew into a passion for the art. He and his family tend the bees and produce all of Pinhook Honey's products using old fashioned methods.
Our apiaries are located in southeast Lawrence county about 6 miles from Bedford Indiana, at 4738 Pinhook Road, Bedford IN 47421.
Our product is sold out of a small shop right here on the farm. We frequently attend area farmer's markets and craft shows throughout the year. Be sure to follow us on Facebook to find out where we will be with our products or providing bee education.
As a rule, raw honey is usually minimally processed and we follow that rule to a tee! Our honey retains all of the natural enzymes, antimicrobial, antibacterial and healing properties that nature designed.
We still hand bottle every jar and hand cut all of our comb. Our quality is unsurpassed and we make every effort to produce the best honey possible.
